"Lad" is the only palomino few-spot leopard stallion in this area. Lad has a thin, shapely neck, and a smooth, balanced and muscular build. His disposition is incredibly sweet with an "I'll do whatever you want attitude”. These traits have and will put the BEST foals on the ground. We have put off Lad’s training until summer 2009. This is still one of our most important goals and can’t wait to get him going under saddle!
Going back to the famous "Skipper W" a total of 13 times, to "Peter McCue" 30 times, "Plaudit" 18 times, "Old Fred" 19 times, and to "Nick Shoe Maker" 16 times, Lad has an awesome pedigree! His sire is a grandson of the great AQHA stallion "TE-N-TE" and a great-grandson of “Spanish Array”, AQHA. His dam is sired by the regionally famous "TAF Doc Holliday" (Tough Plaudit X Richland’s Pole Kitty). His dam is also a full sister to "Holliday Gold Rush" (ROM-Halter) and "Holliday Tuf Drifter" (Supreme Champion & Proven Producer).
Lad’s 2006 filly, “Lad’s Array Of BrightNyt” was awarded Champion Yearling Filly at the 2007 NWPOABA Futurity! She was also Champion Yearling Filly at the NW Regional and Reserve Jr. Champion Mare. She went on to take the same at the NWPOABA IBC/open show!
Lad’s 2007 filly, “Lad’s SkipA Magic Lulaby” was Reserve Champion Yearling Lunge Line and was 3rd in the Yearling halter class at the NWPOABA 2008 futurity. She placed 4th in a large Weanling Filly class at the 2007 NWPOABA Futurity! She was not shown the rest of the weekend because she didn’t have a handler, but would have been a real contender in all of the weanling filly classes! Watch for her next year in the yearling filly classes!
Lad’s 2007 colt, “LWF Lad’s Elusiv Royale T” (aka: Chowder) was awarded Reserve Champion Weanling Colt at the 2007 NWPOABA Futurity. Chowder also was awarded NW Regional Champion Weanling Colt and Reserve Jr. Champion Stallion! He won the same at the NWPOABA IBC/open show!
