Cowboy CANNOT produce a black, bay or chestnut/sorral colored foal! He WILL produce a palomino, buckskin, or smoky black foal when bred to sorrel, bay, or black mares. In addition he could produce a cremello, perlino or smoky cream if bred to buckskin, palomino, or smoky black mares. Always remember, as with any stallion, if your mare is gray, the foal has at least a 50% chance of also turning gray. Same if the mare is roan.
